Our Firm

 Our Firm

We focus on the preparation, prosecution, and strategic management of patent and trademark portfolios in the United States and internationally. Through a collaborative approach and a global network of trusted foreign associates, we coordinate intellectual property protection across multiple jurisdictions.

Our team brings substantial technical experience in electrical engineering, computer science, and mechanical engineering, with particular strength in software-driven innovation. Our experience spans optical, wireless, and packet networking; cybersecurity, digital trust, encryption, and post-quantum cryptography; cloud architectures and Software-as-a-Service platforms; digital signal processing and integrated circuit design; antenna and semiconductor technologies; artificial intelligence and machine learning; and other advanced and emerging technologies.

This combination of legal experience and technical depth enables us to understand complex inventions quickly, identify commercially significant concepts, and translate those concepts into clear, strategically developed patent applications and intellectual property portfolios.

End-to-End IP Management

We provide comprehensive intellectual property services throughout the lifecycle of patent and trademark assets. Our clients include early-stage companies seeking investment, growth companies preparing for financing, acquisitions, or public offerings, and established global technology companies managing substantial domestic and international portfolios.

We align intellectual property strategy with each client’s business, product, and competitive objectives. Our focus is not simply on obtaining patents and trademark registrations, but on building portfolios that support product development, market expansion, investment, licensing, enforcement, and strategic transactions.

From invention harvesting and initial filing strategy through prosecution, issuance, international coordination, post-grant maintenance, and ongoing portfolio review, we operate as an extension of our clients’ in-house legal, engineering, and executive teams.

By combining technical knowledge, legal judgment, industry insight, and strategic perspective, we help clients protect innovation, strengthen competitive position, enhance enterprise value, and develop intellectual property assets that support long-term business objectives.

  • Future-Proofing the Business: Patents protect key technology directions and product architectures, helping preserve freedom to operate as markets and competitors evolve.
  • Establishing Market Leadership:  A strong portfolio signals technological leadership, attracts investors, and can define emerging product categories or technology standards.
  • Financial Value:  Patent assets can generate licensing revenue, support company valuation, enable tax advantages in certain jurisdictions, and serve as collateral in financing arrangements.
  • Partnerships and Strategic Deals:  Patents strengthen negotiating positions in joint ventures, supplier relationships, and commercial partnerships.
  • Recognition and Innovation Culture: Recognizing inventors and protecting their work helps build a culture of innovation and encourages continued technical advancement.
  • Influence Over Industry Standards: Patented technologies can shape industry standards and technical ecosystems, particularly in standards-driven sectors such as telecommunications and networking (e.g., 5G, IEEE, and IETF).
